Long Island village used government accounts to push event that was a rally for Democrats in disguise: ‘Voters deserve better’
Officials with the Village of Hempstead turned their local government into an arm of the Democratic Party -- to help elect Democratic candidate Laura Gillen to Congress, The Post has learned.
