The ‘Ghosts’ Season 3 Finale Had a Twist No One Expected, Living or Dead
Bertrand Calmeau/CBSThe third season of Ghosts has been a time of change for the spirits and livings of Woodstone Manor, so it’s only natural for it to end with one of the biggest changes any person can ever make, alive or dead: holy matrimony. (Although, just how “holy” are ghosts themselves, really?)(Warning: Spoilers ahead.)“Isaac’s Wedding” technically lives up to its title, even though Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones) ultimately doesn’t end up going through with the actual matrimony part. That Isaac even makes it to the altar—to eventually say "I don’t"—is still a big step for the character, especially considering how deeply closeted the 18th-century ghost was when the series began. It would have been so easy for Isaac to have said "I do" to Nigel (John Hartman), especially as the two Woodstone ghosts who were seemingly destined for each other: star-crossed gay soldiers from the Revolutionary War, able to be together forever in the afterlife. After decades upon decades of denying who he really was, Ghosts makes clear that Isaac ultimately still has a lot of time to discover what he wants. It’s not like he’ll be getting sucked off anytime soon.Read more at The Daily Beast.

Laura Ingraham Is Pissed That CNN Mentioned Trump’s Scatalogical Nickname
Fox NewsCNN’s on-air reference Thursday to Donald Trump’s former lawyer and likely hush-money trial witness Michael Cohen’s scatalogical nickname for his ex-boss received an unenthusiastic reception by Fox News host Laura Ingraham, who complained that the rival network’s coverage choice should spur James Earl Jones to revoke his iconic voiceover.Cohen’s social media post last month in which he called Trump “Von ShitzInPants,” perhaps in reference to unverified rumors about Trump passing gas in the courtroom, was read aloud Thursday by Trump’s lawyer, Todd Blanche, during a contempt of court hearing. Blanche was trying to argue that it was unfair for a gag order to prevent Trump from talking about witnesses when they can talk about him.Last week, Cohen wrote on X that he would cease mentioning Trump until he had testified in the case, in which prosecutors allege Trump—with Cohen’s help—broke state law regarding business records and federal campaign finance law by arranging, then covering up, hush-money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels.Read more at The Daily Beast.

For Sale: Jeffrey Epstein’s Second ‘Black Book’ of the Rich and Famous
Photo Illustration by Thomas Levinson/The Daily Beast/Getty/Alice BenjaminA second “black book” of contact names and numbers belonging to the well-connected dead sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is going up for auction in two weeks time. On May 15, the black book will be offered for private sale by sealed bids by Alexander Historical Auctions. A forensic document examiner’s report on its authenticity will be provided alongside it.Asked how much he thought it may fetch, Bill Panagopulos, Alexander’s owner, told The Daily Beast, “There are no comparables for the sale of this kind of relic. But, based on my experience, if I’m pressed to offer a price I would think it would be $100,000 to $200,000, and up.”Sealed bids will be accepted for a month. If there’s not an acceptable top bid, Panagopulos said, the Epstein book will be offered in an Alexander Historical’s auction on July 12. There will be an estimate, but no baseline bid.Read more at The Daily Beast.
